Dog animation research - ways dogs have been animated in the past
A clever look into an interpretation of a dog walking.
Dog animation research - ways dogs have been animated in the past
This is a really clever Flash animation of bounding movements of a dog. This is an inspirational one for the way I want mine to move... however in a simpler way I think.
Dog animation research - ways dogs have been animated in the past
This is a really simple way that someone has animated a dog. Looks like it has been done on paint. But I think it is adorable...

Dog and the Butcher - Aniboom Animation
This is really interesting looking at the different expressions the dog makes and the way it moves.

Type as image... Rob Ryan
This is work done by one of my favourite artists/designers. I think it is brilliant, it always makes me smile. It is also a brilliant example of using type as image.

Brain imagery - This article will change your life
For this article I decided to focus on the fact that the human brain cannot comprehend and differentiate between large numbers (millions, billions, trillions etc...)
1billion seconds lasts for about 12 days.
1 trillion seconds lasts for about 35,000 years.
That certainly baffled me.
So... I have decided to use brain imagery, maybe hand rendered and then brought into illustrator using clever hand rendered type in the image of question marks and different numbers.
Images I could use for the brain...
Relationship Maths - small facebook article
For this article I wanted to use different mathematical symbols along with love and facebook symbols that are widely recognised.
Facebook is such a popular site (500 million users) that most people would be able to tell exactly what they insinuate.
Such as the Facebook logo...
The new friend request symbol.
The new notification symbol
There is a clear indication as to how many friends you have on the site... which goes well with the article.
When newly in a relationship with someone... this comes up.
Along with some of these kind of symbols to make the equation...
